2011 STUDENT BOX OFFICE/ MARKETING ASSISTANT

Theatre Collingwood, a professional theatre company, has a seasonal employment opportunity available for a summer student

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: box office sales and finances (including: ticket inventory & control, cash and credit card transactions, management of ticket purchaser information), database management, group sales, outbound calling, presentations to tourism groups, prospecting new theatre patrons, maintaining social media, creating promotional displays and assisting with general marketing duties.

Qualities: team player, sales-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, strong computer skills, financial proficiency, attention to detail, personable telephone manner, dedication to customer service, excellent communication skills.

Preference will be given to University students with demonstrated sales skills and a passion for culture who live in the region. Valid driver’s license and use of car an asset.

This is a 12 week contract position: June 6 – August 27, 2011. Student must be returning to school in the fall.
