FOR JANUARY DRAMA TRAINING PROGRAMS The NEW drama training program for teens (ages 13 – 18) begins this week – Saturday January 6th. The program for adults starts next week – Tuesday January 10th. The 10 week session of 3 hour classes provides quality instruction. The curriculum is based on four building blocks: the body, the voice, the mind, the team. The skills learned are highly transferable to all aspects of life! Michael Clipperton is the NEW instructor. Michael has been working in the theatre for longer than he cares to remember. He is a director, teacher, actor, singer, designer, producer, and writer. He has a BA (Honours) in Theatre from York University, a B. Ed. in Drama from the University of Toronto, and an MA in Drama, also from the University of Toronto. The highlight of his singing career was performing for Queen Elizabeth II as a member of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir during her Golden Jubilee tour of Canada in 2002. When he is not in a theatre, Michael can be found either teaching in a classroom, traveling the world, or lake-side at his cottage reading a book.
